welcome everybody we’re here with another metal Monday how you doing Brett doing good man just Washington trained over here in Idaho Lily we think we’ve got more rain in the last few weeks and we we’re setting records over here yeah I think it’s supposed to rain tonight and tomorrow again yeah but it’s supposed to get we’re supposed to have a good weekend fine nothing just really makes scrap flow like sheets of rain outside if it’s not raining it’s almost a hundred degrees yeah so that’s been kind of slowing down some flow cuz it’s a little warm a lot of people to get motivated to hustle scrap but well last week we had a good weekend scrap price you know at least on the non-ferrous side we saw some some good things you know it kind of took some wind out towards the end of the week but you know generally speaking all of all the craziness is going on this world the scrap pricing has held up you know yeah I’ve been reasonably been happy with it even if it probably would it come off three four cents the last Friday and
Monday and today cents on copper yeah it was look like it was gonna get hit a little harder last night and yeah early this morning but it seems been a pretty resilient yeah yeah nickels up a little bit looms kind of hanging in sideways around that 70 cent ellamy so yeah I’m not I beggars can’t be choosers at this point which is fairly typical you see like a real good run I mean you saw a copper almost run like about 15 20 cents yeah we do 65 or something like that to 68 I think at the peak yeah you see that good run and inevitably it almost has like a small correction you need to pull back yeah defer to be truly to be truly and truly training in the right direction so I think the rest of this week we’ll see kind of how it plays out but I mean I’m like we always said I’m fairly optimistic and how resilient these markets have been thus far and we’re seeing copper flow through the yards you know people are breaking loose stuff they’ve held on to everyone’s getting back to work so they
need to remove some of that stuff for storage reason or see more electrician scribe we’re seeing more plumbing scribe so that just means people are starting to go back to work and over in here in Idaho you know we didn’t maybe have as much of a slowdown as maybe out some of these other states but we did have a still a significant slowdown just on the retail traffic side just because of all the stay-at-home orders and stuff that was going on well yeah our numbers are down considerably but I think it could have been a lot worse so okay like what we can get and we feel like on our Bend service that’s really busy again which all of the things are like pointing in the right direction for like a good sign for a full recovery lose the second half of this year we’re looking at you know more positive at Ferris markets or you know we’ll see how those hold up I’m going into July but for now or cutting and bailing and shear in a shipping yep all right well let’s see you guys next week have a great
day thanks
