well finally sitting in person with brett for a metal monday we’ve the last couple of been uh via zoom yeah zoom thing is awesome handy i never used it before the the whole corona it’s not something i would want to do like regularly you know like always but it’s like a good tool for the tool chest you know like it’s the ability to still you know do things like metal monday or have that you know meeting or conference you know maybe it eliminates some travel or whatever but it definitely uh it’s it’s nice to have it’s nice i mean i i seem to use it often um for people i use for some from for some marketing yeah every weekend people i talk to that across the nation that don’t really need to travel to meet but it’s nice to have that face to face though like i still think there’s a ton of value in like meeting in person i think there’s some stuff that just happens in person that can never happen yeah i do you never i never want to eliminate the in person the in person and that’s where like

for me on a personal level like i would never want to work from home like there’s the in-person things yeah like there’s just there’s so much more value to it i think people are realizing that the people that went to work away you kind of read some reports everyone’s like kind of like struggling with it and they’re missing that interaction that sounds better than it is yeah the good old the good old the grass is always greener on the other side absolutely argument well it’s monday and everything’s red well most things are right everything’s on fire yeah in a bad way yep everything’s forest fire like burning copper down 10. i was down like 12 or 14 13 at one point yeah and um seem to rebound see what kikko says yeah it’s everything is off other than aluminum uh but you know it’s it is what it is it’s part of the it’s part of the dance it’s part of the game that we all that we all enjoy playing have you read any reports on why it’s so down a good crosstalk well you see oils getting crushed yeah that’s a

big part of it you know the market in general people are worried about the delta variants of kovid you know you think that’s where it’s coming from i think it’s just people yeah you know it’s it’s the market i mean it’s it’s never always up it’s never always down and you know right now it’s been at pretty lofty levels for a while so it’s probably going to shake out some of the weak hands like there’s no doubt about it or it’s just taking a breather you know and i to me i mean it is what it is and that’s kind of part of the it’s part of it it’s part of the deal um you know we we’re still buying we’re still selling yeah we’re still shipping like it you know you gotta take the good to bad um so but yeah is it is it uh is it does it change your your your motivation to you know to sell on days like today absolutely um but uh you know i’ll sit and see where this thing shakes down yeah we’ll see where it lands yeah i mean but i’m still buying i’m

still buying because i think it’s days like today that i like to buy and i’ve said this a hundred times like you know you gotta adjust up and down so if anyone out there listening to this dealing with a scrap yard where you’ve had the same price for a little while you better take a harder look at that because things go up and down yeah exactly yeah all right it’s days like today that keep keep you on your toes yep absolutely well cool anything else that’s it man uh we’ll see next couple weeks where ferris shakes out price of new steel doesn’t seem to be coming down anytime soon um but i think you know going into august you know it’ll be interesting to see where everything goes you have any uh predictions no nothing i mean i’m the guy that predicted five dollar copper so you know i don’t know if you want i don’t know if you want to listen to my prediction right now i think i think we’ll get there but you know we’ll see okay thanks everybody all right have a great day
