foreign it’s almost the end of the year a few more metal Mondays left for the year and uh the par for the course comments down left copper is down two two more hours after this one yeah we got the 19th and the 26th yep yep two more do the work people that’s what it is keep working we gotta these these holiday weeks are always a little tricky but still trying to get some stuff grinded great 50th Metal Monday of the year yep we’re almost there that’s what I tell people man like it’s not ever it’s not always going to be perfect like happens sometimes you’re sick hungover I don’t know whatever but just do the work like just show up put your work in sometimes you’re gonna give it an A plus day and sometimes it’s going to be a c but the at the end of the day like it’s you know it’s the cumulative don’t be too hard on yourself like every single day work try to get better don’t be too hard on yourself and you know good things will happen that’s what I believe I think if you just keep

showing up and playing your best effort even though sometimes it might not be the best work and you’re not too hard on yourself I think good things happen to people that have that mindset and I think boss isn’t Nick and he doesn’t fire you then you’re good and uh and I’m highly thinking we need to change Metal Monday to a different day because Mondays are red that’s like we’ll see we’ll see what happens you can and but maybe 2023 it’ll be green yeah so we’re still around 380 copper still hanging in there hanging tough I am I mean Ferris has been stronger the party has been positive right it has compared to like a month ago we thought we’re gonna be pretty soft this month yep we thought sideways to down 10 20 bucks it actually ended up being more of an up month than I anticipated so sideways to like up money depending on your location geographically um which is a good thing I know a lot of people out there could use the up money us included um the flows are I think that’s kind of the the deal I mean I

think that is that why is that why the price went up you know I think it’s a big what did it what do they say like 17 of the night last 19 January has been up months on the ferris side so maybe people anticipate in trying to get ahead of that a little bit or if the export Market was a little bit stronger I think that was a big driver and then put that on top of just you know no flow or very little flow I mean we had a snow day here right so they canceled school there’s enough snow out there to to you know for the buses not to run which really makes it hard for people to motivate a haul scrap across the yeah the scale so I mean I anticipate buying eight pounds of iron this today like we’ll see we’ll see what happens it’s gonna be a slow day um like anything when the weather gets crappy it initially slows down if it gets super cold snow rain it kills it until people get used to it again same with the heat when it gets 100 degrees it kills

it but then it stays 100 for two weeks people get people adapt so that’s one thing about people people do adapt so if it’s not like like snowmageddon yeah it was crazy yeah but people did adapt and people started coming in again even though we had more snow than I’ve ever seen my life you know well snowmageddon produced a lot of scrap too because that’s true it collapsed buildings and it was just man it was it’s crazy so we’ll see what uh January brings but you know the positive side of December is we’re getting a little bit better iron prices for those of you that have Ferris scrap to move or the ability to move it that’s another challenging thing with weather like it is right now is you have it’s you know a lot so some of our material Goes West and goes up through the blues which is a mountain region going in in Oregon they go up over that pass and drop down to the the west coast and then the other portion of our scrap goes east which is a little more flat lands a little colder um so and

the roads can just be a bear for us so whether you’re moving by rail or by truck or whatever your means of Transport is this kind of this type of weather can wreak havoc on what you can actually even deliver to a steel mill Shredder you know anything else because that Blues pass can be pretty nasty it’s really nasty yeah well half the time they just shut it down so then we get trucks stuck where do they have to stay when it’s shut down do they just stay will you stay here if they get if they get a notification ahead of time if they’re already on the way to they stop and or they’ll stop it somewhere in Oregon whether it’s Ontario or into Baker City or the other way you know it just depends but yeah Pendleton I mean just depends on how nasty how nasty the roads are so hopefully cross your fingers we’ll actually be able to get some material delivered this month if these these uh this weather holds clears up a little bit but all in all I think that’s why the pricing’s up I think it’s a supply

issue I think it’s there’s still some decent demand um and I feel like January could be similar well we’ll wait and see we got two more metal Mondays this year and we’ll keep grinding on our end 51 and 52 mm-hmm it’s hard to believe that it’s it’s already been almost a year so we’ll see see what uh 2023 brings but I’m optimistic I know it’s it’s pretty like that’s the way it goes but I’m still optimistic about the economy I’m still optimistic about where this thing can go and worst case scenario goes to well at least we’re all swimming in the same muddy uh swimming pool yeah all right thank you everybody thanks Brett have a great day
