in this one i want to talk about birch birch is the number two copper as you can see this one this piece right here has got a silver colored coating on the actual copper which kicks it down to a number two and this one is a copper but it has some type of varnish or some type of paint perhaps on it there’s a good chance this got torn out of a electric motor you got to watch out for this though you put a file on this gotta make sure it is actually copper sometimes it will be aluminum so here’s the number two wire that still has the insulation on it we would buy that as a number two insulated and then we’d run it through our copper chopper our granulator and get a number two chop as you can see here we got a number two chop you can see the silver colored it’s not all number one there’s some number one in it for sure though in this session i want to talk about cliff cliff’s the number two copper as you can see it’s got some we as you see we have

some solder joints here we have a fitting we don’t really have any paint on this one but a paint can kick it down to a number two so we see this a lot from your plumbers from your demo guys and they’re so busy just you know doing what they do they bring it in like this but this is something they could or a scrapyard traditionally will upgrade okay we’re gonna upgrade this number two copper into number one so that literally just took seconds and we upgraded all this material right here this piece is still number two copper and this right here traditionally we wouldn’t clean that anymore we’re just gonna throw that on number two and move on to the next piece thanks for watching you
