all right everybody we got a green Metal Monday to present I’m almost nervous yeah it almost makes a guy it’s like when you it’s like when you start your day when something good happens and you’re like uhoh waiting for the hook waiting for something bad to happen yeah or you just just take it as it is and be like all right look it let’s go everything ripping though I mean copper you know we’re 425 copper it’s pretty wild you know how far does it go that’s the question do we get 2450 copper Within by the summer man I don’t know I saw I I sold copper chops at 424 mhm the other day and I thought I was like oh I hit a home run MH and then I saw it go to like 427 or 428 and I was like I guess no no matter what I can never call that the top you know I’m always but I’d rather just try and get close if I can because I’ve had plenty of sales that are you know four bucks Dam near 427 right now yeah so that’s nothing wrong with that man
it’s uh anytime you start getting over the fours and you can stay in that range on copper I feel like it’s I feel like it’s a good spot to be you know if there is material out there it’s going to flow in you know yeah yeah it’s going to help help the cause aluminum stronger everything just looks stronger Ferris we saw sideways correct yep it ended up I think there’s some momentum there though because you’re watching these other base medals I mean we were just talking about just a second ago I mean the pgms are ripping you know yeah platinum platium rodium silver gold I mean all your you know whether it’s an industrial PGM like your you know your platinum plum rodium you know silver I think silver is like the one that kind of walks the line of being an industrial slash you know true precious medal um but I mean they’re all you know ripped the last today for sure Silver’s been on a tear I think it’s just trying to catch up to Gold um but you know your base medals are hanging in there so I the reason I
was saying that is I feel like Ferris we can get a little momentum might have you know some catching up to do we’ll see we’ll see what uh what may brings yeah we were hoping for up money we didn’t really see what we were hoping for it feels like it that should come you know but we’ve said that before and it flips the other way we’ll see how strong these nonfer markets go I know our copper customers are happy right now our electricians they’re happy um you know with the scrap side they have to buy it too so that thing does cut both ways for them so yeah um and we’ll just let it we’ll see how far it goes we’ll keep adjusting for our customers and the guys turning in the scrap are happy they’re happy the guys the guys on the purchase side who are like trying to quote jobs and bid jobs and watching the price of copper go up they’re like golly this is here we go so I CU I talked to a fair amount of electricians they are kind of caught in the middle where they like to
see it High when they’re selling but they like to see it dip when they’re buying big yeah a lot of them will buy big big loads of copper to have for the you tell them hey that’s Welcome to My Life where I like to see the price go go up high but I know my price is is coming up too so it’s you know your inventory is more expensive you know which in a tough cash flow environment if your price of your inventory is going up you know you if you are a hedging then you know you got a chance if not then you got to keep stuff moved it’s all those things all those factors that play a role in how you run your business a week from now we’re gonna be in Vegas for I we’re going to do metal Monday from Vegas I’d like to find a guest special guest so hit us up if you want to be on the show Monday morning Monday morning it’s Monday morning Monday afternoon somewhere around Monday we’ll make it work cuz some people will be coming in Monday yeah so whatever works for

able to say hey I got a live podcast it’s on the St on stage at 12:50 um I don’t know the details like Bayside something whatever I know it’s Wednesday but I got my dad Jay who both likees cigars um and I’m gonna bring some cigars out or recyc media team give away some cigars to people that come out to the the podcast those are actually go on the cigar um and we just want it to be a pretty light you know good time but also get into this some family business stuff like what is it Jay came from a family business helped alter build their family business my dad came from the family business I’m in a family business and our industry is steeped in generational businesses right so what does that look like from different perspectives what does it look like between two two friends and just have a good time and shoot the so those are going to go on some cigars that we’re going to give out I’m really excited I can’t wait to hear what you three have to say during that there going to there’s a lot
of wisdom in that conversation you know and there’s a lot of and a lot of wisdom so we’ll see you know how it goes but you’re right I think those two bring a lot those two are bring a lot and you know they’re both you know going to be out of the industry soon but they’re both something we can both lean on for advice especially during some tough times they might have advice that we might not see cuz they’ve seen seen a lot of stuff that we’re going to be coming up to in the future so yeah if you’ve got any questions send them my way I posted on LinkedIn uh yesterday just some of the questions that I’ve been hatching on that I I want to ask but if you’ve got something that’s that’s burning in the back of your mind especially if you’re a family business guy or gal send it you know send it to me email it add it to the the LinkedIn post whatever and then I’ll put it on the list and we got enough time I’ll squeeze as much in as I can awesome all right thank
