### Another Q&A Session with Brett
**Brett:** How are you doing today?
**Guest:** I’m good, man. Had a great weekend and I’m excited for the week ahead.
**Brett:** That’s great to hear! I want to give a quick shout-out to my wife, who’s graduating from Boise State. She’s worked incredibly hard, achieving straight A’s and multiple award recognitions throughout the week, leading up to her graduation in social work.
**Guest:** That’s fantastic! It’s always impressive when people pursue and utilize the degrees they worked hard for.
**Brett:** Absolutely. It’s great seeing people like my wife and even our team members, like Sky, using their degrees in ways that fulfill them. It’s also important to know when to pivot, whether in education or business, if something doesn’t align with your goals.
**Guest:** Agreed. Sometimes it’s about knowing when to move on to something that truly speaks to your heart.

### Listener Questions
**Johnny Pson asked:** Do you know anyone who comes in and sifts the ground for metal after a scrap metal yard closes?
**Brett:** Great question, Johnny. We tackled this by using a piece of equipment called a flip screen, which attaches to front loaders or excavators. It helps sort dirt and rocks, separating out metals that can be picked out with magnets. It’s an effective tool for maintaining our yards and ensuring metal recovery.
**Melissa Lorash commented:** On a light note, you mentioned needing a band-aid for a boo boo!
**Brett:** Yes, I had an incident with smashing my finger and losing a nail. It was amusingly documented by Sky with a creative social media post!

### On Attending Remma
**Am I going to Remma?**
**Brett:** The short answer is no. There are several reasons, from personal preferences like avoiding California, to professional commitments and costs associated with the event. Plus, I prefer spending free time supporting my kids in their sports activities. Attending such events can be costly and I believe in attending only when the value is crystal clear.
**Guest:** Makes sense, both with the logistics and the costs involved.

### Upcoming Projects and Updates
**Brett:** We have numerous exciting projects, including closing a deal this week and developments in our tire business. We’re also building a storage facility in Caldwell. These endeavors keep us busy and hold great promise.
**Guest:** It sounds like you have a lot going on, and I’m sure these projects will spark interesting discussions in future Q&A sessions.
**Brett:** Definitely, there’s a lot to look forward to. Thanks for joining us today, and thank you to everyone listening. Have a great day!
