### Inside the New Podcast Room
Alright, everyone. We’re here in our new podcast room. It might be a bit echoey, but we’ll get that sorted out. It’s been a while since we did a Q&A, and with this new space in our Caldwell yard, we plan to release much more content.
Podcasts are a great way to give listeners an insight into the business, both ours and others. This room above our recycling center was just a storage space. With some creativity, and thanks to our in-house builder Braven, we turned it into an amazing podcast space.

### Expanding Horizons: Beyond Scrap
I recently shared a post about Adam Whitesman, a well-known figure in the scrap industry. What struck me was his perspective – despite being recognized as ‘the scrap guy’, Adam sees it as fairly simple compared to his other ventures. This resonated with me. While scrap is my first love, our team and I have explored and grown within various sectors like tire shredding, property development, and more.
We continuously build on our love for the scrap business while exploring other opportunities, leading to a broader range of projects and a stronger team.

### The Grand Canyon Adventure
About three weeks ago, we tackled the rim-to-rim hike at the Grand Canyon—a grueling 23-mile trek. A year ago, I stood at the Grand Canyon with my family and promised myself I’d return to hike it.
Why take on such challenges? They build resilience. When business throws obstacles your way, knowing you’ve tackled personal challenges reinforces that you can handle tough situations. The Grand Canyon was about confronting physical and mental limits, proving to myself that I can endure and thrive.

### The Importance of Incremental Growth
The hard experiences, such as the Grand Canyon hike, teach us the significance of taking life one step at a time. In business and personal life, it’s crucial to tackle obstacles incrementally. Focusing on small, consistent actions can lead to significant achievements and comparisons to business growth strategies.

### Closing Thoughts
I’m thrilled about this new podcast room, and I’m eager to bring more voices into this space. Whether it’s talking about scrap, pipe, tires, or any ventures we explore, we’ll delve into various topics that shape our industry.
Thank you for joining us today. Stay tuned for more insightful discussions. Take care!
