all right welcome everybody we are uh day late but my apology apologies to everybody but metal monday is back middle moose day metal news day and copper’s on a tear it’s this is crazy i i’m telling you five bucks i’ve been i don’t know i’ve been saying for you i’ve been saying it for about a month i’m uh hopefully starting it’s quicker than i thought but i’m not complaining um i think that it’s gonna be i think it’s weird before you know it um steel’s running ferris prices i mean they were up not as much i think everybody would like to see or anticipated this month you know anywhere from 15 to 20 bucks i think if you sold a little bit later you did our you did better if you sold early i think you might have left a little bit of money on the table but i think june july is going to be good i i really believe that you still think there’s a lot more juice to be squeezed out absolutely and i and i the reason i believe that to be true is the scrap flow is slowing down

yeah and i think that you know the day-to-day retail traffic some of that stuff there’s still a few cleanups there’s still some stuff going on but you know when it starts and we get june july over here it’s hot as balls outside yeah oh yeah so i mean nobody is out there trying to pick up scrap i mean you get if you scratch the price up you know if we get five six hundred dollar iron then everybody’s a scrapper then the flow will go yeah but right now it’s not the pricing is is okay but it’s not to where you just everybody’s excited i mean you’re still paying everybody 300 a week to not do anything you know you got to pick up a lot of iron exactly and i was wondering if like i think there’s something with that i think it’s that if people start needing money more you know you’ll see that peddler flow yeah however you want to call that you know because the commercial side seems the commercial side has been has been busy but man everybody has money in their pocket right now right like you

it once if everybody has money in their pocket it’s not like they’re out there trying to pick up scrap yeah exactly so i don’t know it’s it’s a bunch it’s pretty interesting dynamics right now so well other fronts aluminum is just i mean you know we’re doing awesome on aluminum yeah nickel broke over eight again you know we got close tonight i think we broke nine at one point and we’re not there yet yeah and you know i have a bet with bo boston that uh copper is gonna get to five dollars by the end of this week i don’t know my bet is it’s not gonna get there till june okay so but his is that so he’s aggressive yeah so we bet at dinner so i hope hopefully regardless even hopefully you get 4.99 yeah you get a dinner on the deal yep hopefully we get you know i get a free dinner but even if i don’t we’re gonna have a nice dinner yeah anyway we’ll keep everybody posted hopefully have a great week and uh finish strong it should be things are good on the the scrap end as
