welcome everybody we are here for another metal monday yes sir here we are what’s going on last day of the month we’re going uh out in the blazer glory it’s been super busy man i mean i mean hopefully the prices go up you got any more insight on that you know not yet it feels like the prices are going up people are you know they’re the prices are going up it’s just a matter of how much at least as of today what tomorrow brings or the rest this week we’ll see but it feels like the momentum on the ferris side is positive so that’s a that’s a good thing in our book we got everything else really pretty much sideways from last week i mean it’s real similar the copper is still around 295 copper is at 304 this morning on the comex 304 and some change so that’s good we got uh aluminums hanging tough they’re on that 79 close to 80. you know it’d be nice to break through that 80. and also and i would assume has something to do with the ferris market and just the nickel um being stronger

but stainless pricing is coming up too so i’m getting some pretty some pretty good stainless prices being quoted um i think you put an article on linkedin about nickel and tesla yeah so where does that connection come from i just think that they kind of recognizing the just because the batteries and nickel hydrate i don’t know how much nickel is actually used in them but it’s a fair amount so the ability to mine nickel green you know was what the article was based on but the reality of it is i don’t there really is no green per se way to mine i think there’s some maybe greener greener ways yeah um but i mean i think that they’re still trying to figure out what is the best way to do it what is the most environmentally but still efficient way to mine some of these metals and the article in my opinion more was just a way to say hey us the scrap metal industry the urban miners if you if you call it are i mean if there’s any if there is a green way to mine anything i think we’re probably doing

it about as green as you can gotcha yeah i think that’s what i got from it i think that’s what’s kind of cool is the urban mining aspect where the your carbon footprint’s just a lot lot lower yeah so you get a lot greener that way you know which is uh i think kind of going to be a game changer for certain industries someday you know oh it’s gonna be big and i think that what i like about it is is the scrap metal industry we kind of have got a bad rap for a lot of years as far as just being a dirty industry and as you know when the mining that we’re doing is stuff that was previously going to the landfill i mean we’re basically taking landfill stuff and turn it into commodities and we’re not we’re handling the waste stream for some people and actually turn into usable valuable commodities so and that’s where we kind of fit in that manufacturing aspect too we we manufacture this waste yeah and get it ready for the next step we cross over so we’re kind of cross over a lot of different

industries we’re kind of like the i think we’re kind of like the grease that holds a lot of stuff together from the manufacturing side to the wayside you know we’re kind of our own kind of just our own niche for sure and that’s what i love about it well anything else to add you know i’m just looking forward to uh september i mean i think it’s gonna be good i mean hopefully we can get some volume moving on the fair side um and the non-first price is looking good uh precious metal pricing is looking pretty good this morning again so the converter market is is definitely staying pretty staying pretty hot and nothing bad to say today got it and we’ll be back uh next tuesday because labor day next monday sorry metal tuesday metal tuesday thanks guys see ya bye
