March 9th, 2020: Nick and Brett sit down to talk about the current markets. They discuss the non-ferrous markets (Copper, Aluminum, Nickel, and Lead) and also touch on where the ferrous markets will possibly be headed for the month of March. Their goal is to bring insight on why pricing can change so quickly in the scrap metal industry.

hey guys i’m here with another metal monday obviously this one’s a little bit different i got bret on a remote site bret tell everyone where you are i’m in denver colorado but i’ve got an airplane today hopped on over here this morning early um didn’t crack didn’t contract the corona virus yet so life is pretty good good good good luck um one thing about us united united metals guys we do not live in fear we just go with the flow and that even goes with the markets that’s a good segue into some of the non-ferrous markets this this morning you know what what are they doing it’s tough man is it tough out there it’s a tough tough one but uh you know it is what it is we try and control the stuff we can control and the markets are not one of them they you are just gonna have to play in the pool that you dealt so we are doing what everybody else is doing and just trying to uh buy and sell and buy and sell yeah that’s right i mean all those are down we what are

you thinking that april might bring for the ferris markets i know it’s a ways out but are you that’s a toss up i’ve heard a lot of people talking it down you know going into march i thought the market was going to be up um 10 to 20 bucks we are strong sideways i mean there’s no markets that are up anything not even five bucks so sideways on everything going into march this month um april depends on how this whole um market shakes out in the next 20 days it could be we could be in for a rough one but we’re just gonna try and bang out as much material as we can this month and keep the train moving okay man well everybody we will keep everybody posted as we know more and every monday we will keep filling you in thanks brett appreciate it nick have a great day and we’ll see you in a couple days yes sir see you soon bye
