foreign we’re back in the saddle we’re back at the home base after a week in Israeli yes in Nashville how you doing Brett dude I’m good man I got back yesterday I stuck around Nashville for a couple days my wife came into town um we did Nashville and with some of our friends uh our business partner up in Oregon and his wife which we all get along really well and so um man it was I’ll tell you what like and you probably saw this because you got there early but when Friday and Saturday rolled around that thing’s wild holy it seems wild crazy it’s wild on a Tuesday yeah but then Friday and Saturday it’s a whole different animal they had a marathon in town a marathon that was down by the Tennessee Stadium okay 21 000 people ran in the marathon was it did they run through downtown they must I don’t know but dude it was just like people walking around bat like the you know the numbers everywhere and I so I was talking to Jake we were talking about he was yeah it was 21 000 entrance in the marathon

so imagine like the amount just those people coming into town plus it just being Friday and Saturday man I was like I told the knee I’m like can we go like to one of those like old folks places where you just eat dinner and like have a couple cocktails and like listen to the music and keep it moving and we gotta go get the middle of that craziness but it was good man Israeli was good who knows to the guys at Israel for booking Nashville because that was a good thing I think I saw that they’re gonna be back there in four years are they so I don’t know if that’s going to be an ongoing like every four years which I think that would be pretty slick for people to do that every four years yeah it’d be nice I mean obviously you’re gonna get some some uh some different like geographical you know you get more draw from the south and like the East because people can drive there and like it’s fairly accessible um plus you know I don’t know I do Vegas is Vegas like it is what it is

it’s it’s it’s hard on me Vegas there are some similarities because there’s just so many people crammed in a little space in Nashville yeah but I did feel like genuinely the people were just a little more like genuine real people yeah person like having everyone in your face you brought this up over there not everyone it’s not as in your face if you want to go get a drink you can go find it in Vegas or like in your face like do you want this do you want this yeah and I’m like here go to this strip club here go to this go there you’re like jeez like if I want to find it I know how to go find I got Google on my phone like I know how to look up what I’m looking for right but like just everything just right in your face like oh okay so we did Metal Monday from Nashville on a Tuesday and the markets were just screaming they were green we talked about moving Metal Monday to Tuesday we would say that for a long time and you know it just doesn’t fit with our

skit I’ve we’ve built our schedule around Metal Monday we get to shoot the we gotta take the good with the bad it’s it’s a lot of red today a little bit of green I mean rhodium’s rhodium has been kind of on a little bit of it hanging in there yeah it was getting its butt kicked for a long time it still is if you historically speaking but you know it seems rhodium seems like a good placeholder of value for right now I feel like it’s got some potential um so that’s one we pay attention to plus we own a lot of it um and uh you know copper is softening up but it you know it was off a few cents earlier this morning kind of trying to rebound a little bit it’s almost like yeah back to sideways you know around that 397 um but yeah last last week was a decent you know decent on all all Commodities fronts really I mean nickel was got some caught some legs and legs yeah it’s under 11 right now but it’s close to 11 it’s 10 90 95 right now yeah the fairest Market

every you know at the show was talking about mid-month drops and some people taking some uh some hits some hits on the shred feed side you know whether it’s you know light Goods car bodies you know we’ll see if how much of that sticks going into May probably depends on what the economic picture looks like and rates and all that and just kind of where people feel like this thing’s going um it does feel sloppy like the trade feels sloppy for whatever that’s worth um having been through this a few times these ups and downs and feels like we’re gonna see a 20 30 adjustment maybe I don’t know man yeah I mean it feels like they’re they’re gonna try I mean it’s always the it’s always the job of the Shredder operators to try right yeah until you don’t get the volume that you need to operate which that’s kind of the nice thing about spring is spring use usually provides that the yards could get you know naturally just well you just naturally pick up volume because people are out and about well the calls are starting you know in our

area we’re getting calls left and right for cleanups you know some big projects are coming up so we’ve had some gnarly Winters this year so it’s felt like it’s kind of been a slow go early in the year volume wise um but it’s picked up for sure so we’ll see where Ferris lands um while we’re in Israel we got to meet a lot of people that we talked to on social media we’ve met a lot of them personal ready I met a few people I’d never met in person but you know commented on their posts we’re able to squeeze in three podcasts while we were there so I’m excited to get those out for everybody yeah um I think it was gonna be good and then uh get those out this week and and it was great seeing everyone at Israeli and you know but when we go to the scrap Expo in September which that’s kind of our next event we’ll actually have a booth there and we’re gonna knock down some podcasts and we’ve got some kind of exciting things on the front that we’re that we’re kind of just that are

in the works right now that we just haven’t really released yet but we’re it’s we got a lot of things in the cooker for 2020. it’s gonna be exciting you know come September we’re gonna kind of roll that new project out before that we’ll we’ll roll out some type of planner where if you feel like doing a podcast with us we would love to have you um so you could schedule that out so you could be part of a scrap life and or a recycled project so we’ll get that out to everybody I love it man well we’ll see what may brings here next week right I mean that’s what’s crazy this week is we’re damn near to may like next next Monday will be May that’s what I’m saying like maybe that wasn’t last week to to knock it down and then you know off to may we go back to zero yep all right thank you all right guys have a great week and we’ll talk to you thank you
