foreign like we’re in the range I I like winning I really do but there’s certain bets I like losing I wanna I wanna lose this bet I want to I want to pay for the next round of blessed bags well worst case scenario there’s be more bags made more bags to give out and you and I have no control over what direction it goes so why is it going down what’s going on I think just the weakness out of China and with them being the main consumer or like being a big consumer people aren’t trusting some of their numbers too right so I think there’s a certain amount of that and I think it’s just there’s just enough their economy seems to be kind of struggling to kind of get going and they haven’t they’ve been talking about different stimulus measures putting little you know ones here and there but nothing excuse me nothing that’s like this mind you know boggling or like you know like traditional China style right where they just come out and they just put gas unlimited gas on the fire so I think that that that’s a part of

it the US economy is not like it’s banging on all cylinders right now either it doesn’t feel like I mean there’s certain pockets of of growth steel um still um so I think yeah I think it’s just a kind of a combination and I but if if it hovers around this you know 370 something and then begins to base out and then you know get ready for you know quick climb I mean if it’s not short on volatility that’s for sure right well we’ll be watching close I’m hoping we got two weeks for it to get to four yeah so we’ll see what happens I mean the pgms took a pretty good run last week yeah and then they’re off giving it back this morning you know so I mean nickels you know below it was kind of Dipping below nine dollars yep and it’s kind of back around hanging around that nine dollar range aluminum is its own Beason of itself I think that that material is going to struggle you know to a certain extent or at least not going to be what it was what about the year or two ago

do you feel like that there’s pretty good demand out there for aluminum not really I mean I think on the export side okay it’s kind of crazy you’re starting to see ubc’s now being exported more um which that’s not something you used to see as much of but uh yeah I think that there’s there’s still some demand but it’s not crazy where people are just willing to pay whatever to get units through the door because they’ve got buyers for them it’s a it’s a little more selective of a process I think you know which always goes back to what we’ve discussed like make a quality product that way in times like this people want to buy your versus your competitors because they can rely on they know what kind of quality you’re going to bring to the table and they’re they’re not concerned that like that you’re gonna ship them some shitty package and that they could have bought a better package from you know your neighbor and being willing to put yourself out on social media like we do they know if we don’t you know do what we say we’re gonna do

or ship something Shady to them yeah we could call it easily call us out on social media 100 so I think there’s so much value and just putting yourself out there and being proud of what you do and posting it and posting it posting it because it can cut both ways and if you screw up you know you own it and you fix it and our production crew and our crew out there buying scrap every day they’re killing it yeah you know the flow is not I’ve seen a lot better flow I’ve seen a lot of worst flow you know yeah so I’ve seen we’ve seen yeah the both both sides of that so it’s not like nothing like I get too worried about you know I’m optimistic we’ll see and it might take you know we’re almost into an election year too I might be a funky year next year too yeah we’ll just see and there’s regardless there’s going to be flow and you know in the then you go back to your relationships on people that you sell it to yeah and then we which is why making a quality product

is important but it’s just like piggyback on your point I also believe that you know you’re you’re willingness to uh to tell people what you do how you do it um create awareness around your company yourself you’re that that’s a big part of um building a business right and creating yourself opportunities and I think that as times get a little bit slower that’s when you almost instead of pulling back is when you really double down on your marketing now it doesn’t mean you go out and just blow your marketing Budget on a bunch of BS it means you really hone in on what you’re trying to achieve and you go hard at that and I think that’s where people can kind of miss the boat is they’ll be like oh you know times are getting a little slower or sales are a little slower or purchase a little slower I’ll say like on the scrap end and they get nervous and like oh we gotta cut we gotta cut our budget right and we’ll start like what’s the easiest thing to cut sometimes they usually start marketing Because unless you have a real clear

Roi which it’s hard to see they’ll start eliminating that right well first of all that could be a big portion of the existing sales that you have or that next one that kind of Keeps the Lights On so I’ve always been a big proponent like you and I’ve discussed like when it’s when it starts to slow down is is when you double down like that’s when it we did it we did it in 2020 and 2021 and our numbers went up yeah you know which is crazy for those years you know yeah which is why it’s exactly what we’re doing right now right we’re in the process of doing as we speak and I think that that’s a testament to a we believe in what we’re doing B we believe in the products that we’re producing we see we we know how we treat our customers we’re confident in like what we bring to the table and if all those things are true and you feel like you have you know more value to bring to the table then I think than you shouldn’t be nervous about you know posting that and and creating

some awareness around your company and what you’re doing yep um we are talking about betting I had a few people last week asked me for bringing football Friday back it’s bad at we are at betting at least we’re betting against each other yeah so I think we’ll bring it back in about two weeks and then I think all that will keep track and come Christmas time Thanksgiving time we’ll put all that money into blessed bags I think we do we do a year where we like we said we pick five games or something a week and then we tallied up at the end of the at the end of the year yep and then we’ll give all the the proceed the winnings to a charity or like blessed bags could be whoever wins is their choice I guess yep we’ll bring it back here I think we got like two weeks for college football make it happen yeah that’s crazy we’re gonna be we’re like in the middle of football season I’m excited oh I can’t wait it’s gonna be uh it’s gonna be good scrap expo’s coming up here soon too that’s like
