all right we got a true Metal Monday and in true Metal Monday fashion things are red yeah I just sometimes I wonder if that’s I mean Mondays I I would love to go through and like actually pull the statistics like on Mondays on especially on the base metal side I mean how many days are red days like across the board it feels like a lot more I mean maybe we’re just we forget all the good ones and we only remember it’s kind of like when you make a bad trade yeah you you forget the the one the good ones you make all week long and then that one that you made that you’re like ah that we we kind of sucked sucked on that one you remember that was your remember I remember the bad better than the good usually you know why is that I wonder I wonder why our brain is trained that way I think I think about this kind of a lot like I think the reason it sticks with me is I’m kind of hard on myself I think that’s what it is yeah I think people may be

like you are hard on yourself and I try been better I let it I I try I learn from it and I move forward I don’t dwell too much I DW if I I’d be lying if I don’t didn’t dwell a little bit on those bad ones when I lose a bid or like we lose an account yeah or I see like a bad transaction our guy’s made like it gets under my skin and you know and I I tackle it head on but I think about people like us a lot of our listeners that’s probably why cuz I bet a lot of our listeners are in the same about yeah I think it’s we I think sometimes we give ourselves too much credit when things go good and we y we we too hard on ourselves when things go bad and it’s probably somewhere in the middle um but when it comes down to like remembering some of the bad trades I think it’s part of just because you want to be perfect or as close to perfect as possible even though you know like you won’t be but it’s you’re you’re always

chasing to be a little bit better and if you’re a person that’s not happy with just status quo then I think that that is somebody that remembers those imperfections so you like what can I do next time to be a little bit sharper or a little bit better so I feel people that are pushers people that are like that want to they’re want to achieve and they want to do more they tend to you know those ones sit a little heavier on them but it’s also if you really want to achieve and you really want to do more the UN is to just go fast make decisions make moves be smart be strategic but know that like you’re probably G to miss a decent amount but you just got to hit more than you than you miss yeah this goes right so real quick shout out to my youngest daughter Eden her birthday 12th birthday today she today she she’s growing up so fast she had her first basketball tournament this goes right into what we’re saying we had Big Dreams winning their first basketball tournament yeah we learned we made it through the

first round oh you did yep made it through the first round and we were down six or eight they battled through they have a good Scrappy team and they care and they work really well together now so they won the first one we get to semifinals CU if we win this next one then we get to the championship and yeah we were in it man it was a dog fight they were in it down two points no one was scoring in the fourth quarter and then then the other teams not making excuses but the other team’s coach start bitching they had to put all their players on the bench because they weren’t he was keeping track of subtime oh and we had no one’s ever done that to us so our coach Subs people in and out yeah but he really like ground him long story short they lost there were some tears from those 12-year-old girls and because they care I was so proud of her and I told her after the game game we stayed and watch the championship too uhhuh cuz I’m like let’s watch let’s see the team

you would have played yeah that team was good they’ve been together for three years oh okay that team has been together for three years and our most of our girls first year players you know so it goes back to that they’re going to remember that loss you’ll remember the loss more than all the wins they did this more than any of the wins they had this year they’re going to remember she watched the championship game she was cheering she was cheering on the team that beat her actually she was cheering for them and hollering like shoot it you know she was into it and then then we went home and our basketball hoop was kind of broken I got it fixed and we we got some practice up and we did use your dribble up ball so anyway it’s all it’s all connected even at 12 years old the losses hurt more and they build they help you build more well they the losses hurt if you care about something yes so they don’t they don’t hurt if your girlfriend breaks up with you and you didn’t like her then you don’t they don’t

care if you liked her and she broke up with you you care right it’s the same thing if you lose you lose a game you care about the game you care about the sport it hurts right it’s it’s all connected you the losses hurt when you actually care so if if you’re losing at something you actually and and you care that you’re losing it means there’s something there there’s something you you you care about right agree So speaking of that the Copper’s losing money Copper’s losing nickel’s losing aluminum’s losing pgms are losing I mean it’s loss across the board it’s kind of the level and out yeah um it’s Monday things are down maybe Friday it bounc it back up maybe we get back 385 390 we’ll have a little bit more info on this Ferris Market next week it feels like scrap flow still is not great on the ferah side talking to Mills and shredders and um I not the demand is necessarily there on the new steel side but the flow is still a little more challenging depends on the region depends on the grade but you know for shredders especially

that that flows is definitely down so all that being said I think we have to uh know that if you have scrap you’ve got scrap on the ground or you’ve got commitments or you’ve got the ability to kind of just push know that it’s it’s still tough sleding out there on the consumer side so uh you know negotiate wisely yep well come check us out next week we’ll have some more insight Chad and I will break it down on Friday and get that posted up so people uh can understand the markets and then we’ll go from there all right thank you everybody all right have a great day
